Blog 3: 15/7 – Day 4 - No more paint

Hi!
So, we woke up and ate some breakfast this morning. Steve told us yesterday that he wouldn’t be here today so we had to paint independently. We were now pro’s, of course, and knew how to do everything. We quickly came to the realization that we would soon run out of the yellow paint, so we asked Pam and she got us some more. We had lunch while she got the yellow paint and during lunch we realized that the new travelers had arrived. We chatted with them and then started painting again (what a surprise), but this time for the last time in this bunkhouse. We actually finished quite fast and showed Pam the amazing result. She was very happy with it and told us that she actually did the painting the first time.
We hung around and cooked dinner, which was chicken (salmon for Elise), potatoes and beans. Although it wasn’t prepared perfectly, I still enjoyed it. We met some new people this evening, including a drunk guest who was very convinced he could play guitar. After we told him we were from Holland he started playing the guitar (false) and started singing (false): “Hollaaaaand oh Hollaaaaand”.
