Blog 2: 14/7 – Day 3 - Yellow

Hi!
Today we started around 9 with our task: which is painting a bunkhouse. The bunkhouse is actually next to ours, so we don’t have to walk far. Steve gave us some tasks first, such as cleaning and scraping the walls. But soon we began painting. Apparently they like the color yellow here, to my surprise. We painted for most of the day and various people came to check up on us and chat with us. Steve was very impressed with our work, and said that we could take Sunday off if we finished the work tomorrow.
After we were done with painting for the day, which was around 16:30, we cleaned ourselves up and decided on what to eat: pasta. We ate pasta in the common dining room, and some new people came by who were staying on the campsite for the weekend. Tomorrow, however, new people from different countries will arrive and I’m looking forward to that.
